Tuesday the Rittner Buam aspire to score points in Feldkirch

Collalbo, September 27, 2021 - For the Rittner Buam, the Alps Hockey League wins continue to pile up. After the two home games played last week against HC Gherdëina and the KAC Future Team, on Tuesday at 7.30 pm the blue-reds will be guests of VEU Feldkirch. The game can be followed by live streaming on valcome.tv.

Santeri Heiskanen's team can talk about a successful start of the season with 10 points in 5 games, at VEU Feldkirch, on the other hand, things are not yet going according to plan - at least as far as results are concerned. In the cross-border championship, the Vorarlberg team has so far lost two of the three games played and obtained one victory in overtime. Michael Lampert's team has suffered the two defeats in front of its own crowd, so that on Tuesday Feldkirch could play with particular commitment at the Vorarlberghalle.

The sports director of the Rittner Buam, Adolf Insam, is of the same opinion when assessing the situation on the eve of the thirteenth game between the two historical clubs: "Feldkirch, who did not have a good start, will certainly give gas from the beginning. An attitude that I also expect from our guys. In the last game against KAC Future Team we started very slow again, but in the final period we were able to turn the match around. I hope we learned from those mistakes and we will go on the ice disciplined and motivated from the first engagement."

The statistics are in favor of the Rittner Buam with 9 wins to 3. However, the last meeting between the two teams last March was won by Feldkirch 7 to 2. Markus Spinell, so far Renon's best scorer with 6 points, and his teammates will therefore have to be on their toes. In Vorarlberg, coach Santeri Heiskanen will have to do without Manuel Öhler and likely also Marco Marzolini. Jari Sailio will be back at disposal.
